Office Coordinator/Executive Assistant

HamptonsFilm is seeking an Assistant to the Executive Director/Office Coordinator to oversee a wide variety of tasks, including:

  • assisting the Executive Director with correspondence, projects, and calendar scheduling
  • managing year-round office operations/duties, e.g., filing, record-keeping, archiving documents/materials, maintaining evergreen spreadsheets, taking meeting minutes, answering office email accounts, staff support
  • assisting with year-round, summer, and festival events

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Google Docs, able to do some basic graphic design, and willing to learn new skills to help manage CRM and ticketing platforms. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills necessary. Must live in the East Hampton area; some nights and weekends required.

Interns + Volunteers

HamptonsFilm enthusiastically welcomes volunteers and interns throughout the year, both in our East Hampton Office and at our monthly events.

To join the team as an intern, please send a cover letter and resume to with the hours and days of the week you are available, and the overall time period (winter, spring, summer, fall).

Our volunteer program ramps up for the Festival in September, but we often need assistance all year long. To volunteer at events between now and the festival, please send an email to indicating your interest. We will add you to our list and let you know about upcoming opportunities.
