 Festival Office Manager (Seasonal)

Duties for this seasonal, full-time position include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing festival office operations/duties such as filing, record-keeping, archiving documents/materials; maintaining evergreen spreadsheets; tracking expenses, receipts and invoices; answering office phones and responding to office email inquiries/comms; overseeing the day-to-day upkeep and management of the HIFF office.
  • Must be proficient in Google Workspace + Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills necessary

This is a seasonal position with an anticipated start date of early to mid-August with some weekend/evening hours as needed prior to the festival dates, and required weekend/evening hours throughout the festival dates (October 4-14). This position is required to work out of the HIFF office (79 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, NY 11937).

Festival Volunteer Coordinator

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee festival Volunteer recruitment
  • Screen all Volunteer applications, and spearhead initial outreach and subsequent communications
  • Coordinate with festival departments on their individual Volunteer needs and assign accordingly
  • Schedule and execute Volunteer Orientation Training Session(s)
  • Facilitate Volunteer shifts for needs prior to the festival and throughout the festival dates

This is a seasonal position with an anticipated start date of mid-September with some weekend/evening hours as needed prior to the festival dates, and required weekend/evening hours throughout the festival dates (October 4-14). This position is required to work out of the HIFF office (79 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, NY 11937) as requested.

VENUE STAFF AND BOX OFFICE SALES AGENTS

If you want to be at the center of the Hamptons International Film Festival, we are looking for skilled local people to join our box office and venue teams for this year’s Festival.

  • Must have prior knowledge or experience in customer service or theater house management
  • Pre-Festival positions must be available to work September 4 to October 15
  • Festival-only positions must be available to work October 4-14

Volunteers

HamptonsFilm enthusiastically welcomes volunteers throughout the year, both in our East Hampton Office and at our monthly events.

Our volunteer program ramps up for the Festival in September, but we often need assistance all year long. To volunteer at events between now and the festival, please send an email to info@hamptonsfilmfest.org indicating your interest.
