Theater Ops Manager (Festival)

A member of the Senior festival staff overseeing operations of all screening venues, the Theater Ops Manager helps ensure a successful, efficiently run festival through the following tasks:

  • acts as main conduit to venue contacts
  • hires, contracts and trains venue staff
  • organizes housing, transportation, meals and schedule for venue staff
  • oversees production orders for equipment
  • manages load-in/out schedules
  • manages venue internet installation(s)
  • assists in various marketing needs

This is a part-time commitment from July 15 – September 25, and full-time on site from September 25 – October 16.

Intern with HIFF this summer!

Hamptons Film is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to work with our 2024 Summer Internship team! Interns will gain hands-on skills and experience with many of our summer events and programs, including our popular Wednesday Summer Screenings and SummerDocs series.

We are looking for summer interns who will:

  • support production team with setup/breakdown of event equipment
  • assist office staff with administrative assignments
  • be flexible and open to changes
  • support and work well with others
  • have their own housing in the area for the summer

HamptonsFilm enthusiastically welcomes volunteers throughout the year, both in our East Hampton Office and at our monthly events.

Our volunteer program ramps up for the Festival in September, but we often need assistance all year long. To volunteer at events between now and the festival, please send an email to indicating your interest. We will add you to our list and let you know about upcoming opportunities.
