Saturday at HIFF27 was an embarrassment of riches! We welcomed our Lifetime Achievement Award winner Brian De Palma for an epic Conversation With Alec Baldwin at Guild Hall, which was followed by A Conversation with Alfre Woodard at Bay Street in Sag Harbor.
In addition, we had two world premieres: ON BROADWAY and IN MEMORIAM, and our Breakthrough Artists Camila Morrone, Lulu Wang and Aldis Hodge joined us for a Winick Talk at Rowdy Hall and then the annual Breakthrough Artists Brunch at Nick & Toni’s, with support from the Suffolk County Film Commission.
In the afternoon Stuart Suna, Randy Mastro and Alec Baldwin hosted a lovely Chairmen’s reception, as always held at Stuart’s beautiful home. And the evening wrapped up with actor and Tony Award-winning playwright Tracy Letts at the Saturday Centerpiece film FORD v FERRARI, sponsored by JP Morgan.
