At our 25th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival in 2017, we presented the East Coast Premiere of Paul McGuigan’s FILM STARS DON’T DIE IN LIVERPOOL, starring Annette Bening.
At HIFF25, the four-time Academy Award® nominee sat down with HamptonsFilm Board Member Bob Balaban for one of our signature conversations. The pair discussed her wide-ranging career, including THE GRIFTERS, AMERICAN BEAUTY, BEING JULIA, THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT, THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, 20th CENTURY WOMEN, and so many more. Bening is also a gifted Theatre actress, receiving a Tony Award nomination for her role in Coastal Disturbances.
On this Flashback Friday, feel free to revisit FILM STARS DON’T DIE IN LIVERPOOL—available to rent on streaming platforms—or any of her other extraordinary work from the past thirty years.
HamptonsFilm members will receive a password for this video via email:
Please enjoy the film and the conversation, and join us next Friday for another Friday Flashback movie + conversation.
