East Hampton was at its best last night for our Opening Night Film and kickoff events, featuring the East Coast Premiere of Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin‘s NYAD, sponsored by Audi.
The sold-out screening at the East Hampton Middle School—which included a wonderful Q&A with Chai Vasarhelyi, producer Andrew Lazar, and the film’s subject Bonnie Stoll—was bracketed by a gorgeous late-afternoon reception at the Devon Yacht Club and ended with a late-night celebration at The Maidstone Hotel.
And best of all, everyone loved the movie, which has an encore screening Friday at 8:45pm at Sag Harbor Cinema. Enjoy the festival!
