Friday was a pleasure at #HIFF2018 from start to finish! We kicked things off with a raw, intimate conversation at Winick Talks at Rowdy Hall called Our Bodies, Our Stories, followed by A Conversation With Maggie Gyllenhaal, moderated by Alec Baldwin at Bay Street Theater.
There was not an empty seat in the house for Emilio Estevez‘s THE PUBLIC* in East Hampton, and Bill Camp joined us on the red carpet for Paul Dano‘s WILDLIFE* at Guild Hall. Over in Southampton, director George Tillman Jr. and star Amandla Stenberg joined us for the very moving THE HATE U GIVE*.
The Friday Centerpiece film THE FAVOURITE (sponsored by The Purist) was another fan favorite, and the Q&A with 11-time Academy Award-nominated costume designer Sandy Powell was a true highlight.
Our Filmmaker + Industry party at Mulford Farm was the perfect way to end the evening…
