2026 has been our busiest summer at HamptonsFilm yet, spanning from East Hampton to Montauk!
We held six free outdoor screenings so far at locations including Herrick Park, Main Beach, Mulford Farm, Amber Waves Farm, and LongHouse Reserve. These movie nights brought families, friends, and our community together under the stars for unique and unforgettable viewing experiences. Don’t miss our grand finale: JAWS on Main Beach, on Wednesday, August 19 at 8:15 PM.
Our 18th Annual SummerDocs have touched audiences with a harrowing story of political violence: KNIFE— THE ATTEMPTED MURDER OF SALMAN RUSHDIE and another about tabloid obsession: THE LION QUEEN. Join us for our final SummerDoc of the season, an epic story with out-of-this-world aerial footage, THE LAST FIRST: WINTER K2 on Saturday, August 29 at 7:00 PM.
Last week, we presented a special screening of HIFF33 favorite, ON THE END, at Gurney’s Montauk and celebrated with a lovely pre-reception and extended intro from director Ari Selinger. It was wonderful for HamptonsFilm to be back out in Montauk and to celebrate this local film.
Finally, on Sunday, August 16, HamptonsFilm celebrated our first annual Trivia Night at The Hedges Inn! Teams got together on the beautiful veranda to celebrate and compete for prizes, including tickets to HIFF34!
As the summer comes to a close, we want to thank our supporters for making our work possible and our staff for bringing these unforgettable summer nights to life.
