HIFF is still going strong, all week long.
Tuesday we welcomed two-time Academy Award® winner Jodie Foster (!) for A PRIVATE LIFE, writer/director Petra Volpe for the US Premiere of LATE SHIFT, and Allison Argo for the World Premiere of FOREVER HOME. We also hosted our annual reception celebrating the Compassion, Justice and Animal Rights program at Baker House, honoring the films in that section, including TRADE SECRET, directed by Abraham Joffe, which received this year’s Zelda Penzel “Giving Voice to the Voiceless” Award. And Wednesday night we welcomed director Bao Nguyen for the East Coast premiere of his gripping documentary THE STRINGER.
