One of our most anticipated days of HIFF33, our first full day featured back-to-back premieres, awards, events, and conversations across East Hampton and Sag Harbor.
We hosted “A Conversation With…” both Ethan Hawke and Elizabeth Olsen, and presented our Centerpiece Film CHRISTY with Sydney Sweeney, who received our Achievement in Acting Award. Tonatiuh accepted our UBS Breakthrough Performer Award and Bernard Telsey received our inaugural Achievement in Casting Award following the New York Premiere of KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. We shared the world premieres of Ari Selinger’s ON THE END and Patricia Gillespie‘s THE SECRETS WE BURY. Standing ovations were in order for E. Jean Carroll and Robbie Kaplan after the East Coast Premiere of ASK E. JEAN and for Chai Vasarhelyi and Lynsey Addario after LOVE+WAR. We could go on and on, but we have nine more days of films to come!
