Drive-In FAQ: Rules of the Road

Thank you for joining us for one of our upcoming HamptonsFilm Drive-In screenings! Our primary goal is to keep everyone safe while enjoying the movie.


Where and When
  • Hayground School in Bridgehampton
  • Screenings begin at sunset each night. Gates will open at 7:45pm. Please check your tickets for more details. You must be checked in and parked no later than 8:20pm.
Help us Keep everyone safe
  • Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and in accordance with State and County rules, we will be enforcing the policy that MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES when outside vehicles or during interactions when social distancing cannot be observed.
  • If you or any member of your party have knowingly been in close or proximate contact in the past 14 days with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who has or had symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days, we respectfully ask that you do not attend the Drive-In.
Things to Know
  • All tickets must be purchased in advance. Please bring a printed or digital copy of your ticket. If you haven’t received your ticket, please email info@hamptonsfilmfest.org.
  • Each ticket allows entry for one vehicle.
  • You will receive the FM radio station for the audio when you arrive.
  • There are NO RESTROOMS on site. Please use restrooms before you come to the event. (If you need to use the restroom during the screening, you will have to drive to the public restrooms in Bridgehampton, located off Main Street behind The Golden Pear.)
  • There will be no concessions—please feel free to bring your own food, popcorn, and beverages.
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • DO NOT discard any trash on the premises. There will be no trash receptacles available for garbage.
  • Please stay in your vehicle at all times.
  • Except for those within your vehicle, a minimum of 6′ physical distance must be kept at all times.
  • Face masks are required for any interactions with staff.
  • Follow the parking directions of our parking lot staff and local authorities at all times.
  • All vehicles should face forward.
  • Please remove racks, equipment, surfboards, beach furniture, etc., from your roof, as you may obstruct someone else’s view.
  • Once parked, you will turn your car over to auxiliary power, and turn off your headlights.
  • Please refrain from idling your engine. If you need to start your car periodically to keep your battery charged, please limit the amount of time you are idling.
  • If you require assistance, please turn on your HAZARD LIGHTS so a staff member can address your concern.

  • In the event of cancellation for dangerous or inclement weather, rain date will be the next night.
