TICKET POLICIES, FESTIVAL ETIQUETTE AND VENUE PROCEDURES
COVID-19 POLICY
All festival attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination status and masks, worn over your nose and mouth, are required inside the venues. For the safety of everyone, guests unable to wear proper face coverings will not be admitted into the venue or will be asked to leave if unable to comply with policy. Children under the age of twelve (12) years old are not permitted at any screening or event. Read the detailed, updated policy here.
FESTIVAL ETIQUETTE
The festival reserves the right to refuse service and maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding bigotry, hate, discrimination, bullying, or harassment of any kind. The festival is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment where staff and guests are treated with dignity, courtesy and respect. If you are found in violation of this policy you will be asked to leave and not return.
LIMITED CAPACITY: PLEASE READ
Please be advised that the Festival is 60% smaller than it was in 2019. Due to capacity restrictions and Covid-19 safety protocols, ticket purchases are limited to two tickets per film.
Please be advised that a ticket does not guarantee entry to a screening; as we have messaged on your tickets, passes, and badges, it will be especially important for you to arrive at the venue 45 minutes prior to showtime to ensure your best chance at admission.
SEATING
Admissions is not guaranteed. All pass-, badge-, and ticket holders are strongly advised to be in line at the venue 30-45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. We reserve the right to allow Industry or Filmmaker Pass Holders access to any empty seats after that time. All seats are general admission, and all tickets are subject to availability. Saving space in line, or seats within the theater for other guests is NOT permitted. Late seating is at the discretion of the venue management team, and is not permitted 30 minutes after the start time of any screening or event. For your comfort, please dress appropriately for October weather.
Founder Pass Holders’ preferred access expires 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the screening or event. At the 15-minute mark, a red flag will appear in the admission line. It will signify that Founder Pass Holders will be seated after individual ticket holders, based on availability. It is advised that individuals should arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled start time.
AUDIO + VIDEO RECORDING / PHOTOGRAPHY
Any and all audio or video recording and/or photography is strictly prohibited at the event. The use of all personal electronic devices including but not limited to cell phones, cameras, handheld recorders, MP3 devices, audio and video recording equipment is strictly prohibited at the event. The Hamptons International Film Festival will actively monitor the venue for such equipment and any person found to be using recording equipment within the venue will be ejected from the venue and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.
SAME-DAY SALES
During the Festival, advance tickets are available at the Box Office and can still be purchased online and by phone based on ticket availability until approximately 30 minutes prior to a program start time. There will be no Rush tickets available this year.
WILL CALL
Online and phone ticket purchasers will receive their tickets as PDFs via email, which must be printed out and shown at the door at each venue, or displayed on your phone. There will be no box offices at the venues this year. For details on printing opportunities, see Box Office details above.
TICKET SURCHARGES
Tickets purchased online or by phone are subject to a 15% per item surcharge. Tickets purchased at the Box Office are subject to a 20% per item surcharge. All Call Center (phone) orders are subject to a $2 per order surcharge. Print at home delivery option is available for no additional charge. All passes and packages are subject to a $10.00 per item fulfillment surcharge.
THE FINE PRINT
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are given, regardless of weather, traffic, or other unexpected circumstances, except in the case of program cancellations or Federal, State or Local government shutdowns or mass gathering restrictions.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, receive a positive test, or have recently had close contact with someone with COVID-19, please stay home and self-isolate in order to ensure the safety of others. If you purchased a pass or ticket package and can no longer attend due to the above or HIFF’s COVID Policies, please contact boxoffice@hamptonsfilmfest.org. You will have the option to roll over purchased passes or ticket packages to the following festival or you can choose to make your purchase a tax deductible donation to HamptonsFilm, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Refunds for single tickets purchased will be refunded for those showing proof of a positive COVID-19 test.
