  • June 4 - The Hamptons International Film Festival and Guild Hall Presents SummerDocs at Guild Hall; 8pm: “Buck”, with special guest host James Lipton and director Cindy Meehl.
  • June 5 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “To Catch A Thief (1955)”, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.
  • June 12 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “Summer Stock (1950)”, directed by Charles Walters. Starring Judy Garland and Gene Kelly. Family friendly. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.

  • July 3 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “West Side Story (1961)”, directed by Jerome Robbins and Robert Wise. Starring Natalie Wood and Richard Beymer. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.
  • July 9 - The Hamptons International Film Festival @ ArtHamptons; HIFF acts as civic and cultural partner at the event from 2-5 p.m. Location: Sayre Park, Bridgehampton, NY.
  • July 10 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “The Muppet Movie (1979)”, directed by James Frawley. Starring Jim Henson as the voice of Kermit. Family friendly. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.
  • July 17 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort;Two films by legendary surfer, artist and filmmaker Herbie Fletcher: SUPERNATURAL and SAVAGE BEAST.  Both undistributed, the SUPERNATURAL and SAVAGE BEAST screenings at Sole East will provide a rare opportunity to see these historic classics.
  • July 22 - The Hamptons International Film Festival and Guild Hall Presents SummerDocs at Guild Hall; “Page One: Inside The New York Times” with host Alec Baldwin.
  • July 24 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; Long Island filmmaker and surfer Mikey DeTemple will present his stunning 2009 surf film, PICARESQUE, his fresh take on contemporary longboarding.
  • July 25-29 -Hamptons International Film Festival and Guild Hall in collaboration with LTV presents: The 4th Annual Summer Student Film Workshop at Guild Hall in East Hampton

AUGUST

  • August 7 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classsics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; BIG WEDNESDAY (1978), by John Milius (rated PG). Hailed by many surfers as one of the all-time greatest Hollywood surf movies, BIG WEDNESDAY chronicles the lives and adventures of three care-free California surfers from the 60’s to the 70’s.
  • August 14 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “The Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009″, directed by Wes Anderson. Starring George Clooney and Meryl Streep as the voices of Mr. and Mrs. Fox. Family friendly. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.
  • August 19 - The Hamptons International Film Festival and Guild Hall Presents SummerDocs at Guild Hall; “L’Amour Fou” with host Alec Baldwin.
  • August 21 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “Big Night (1996)”, directed by Campbell Scott & Stanley Tucci. Starring Marc Anthony, Tony Shalhoub and Stanley Tucci. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.
  • August 28 - The Hamptons International Film Festival’s Sunday Summer Classics Series at Montauk’s Solé East Resort; “The Wizard of Oz (1939)”, directed by Victor Fleming. Starring Judy Garland. Family friendly. Screening will be at 7:00 p.m.

SEPTEMBER

  • September 1 - The Hamptons International Film Festival and Guild Hall Presents SummerDocs at Guild Hall; “Bombay Beach” with host Alec Baldwin.
  • September 5 - Last Day to purchase a HIFF Founder’s Pass at a discount.

OCTOBER

  • October 13-17 – Hamptons International Film Festival: East Hampton, Southampton, Sag Harbor, Montauk. Over 100 films, premieres, red carpets, parties, panels and fun!

  • July 24 – Kids Film Day: Films for young children at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

AUGUST

  • August 7 – SummerDocs at Guild Hall; 8 pm: “The Most Dangerous Man In America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers” with host Alec Baldwin, with special guests Daniel Ellsberg and Carl Bernstein.
SEPTEMBER
  • September 4 -  SummerDocs at Guild Hall; 8 pm: “Last Play at Shea”, with host Alec Baldwin and special guest Billy Joel.
