Friday night was spectacular on the deck at Gurney’s Montauk, as surfers, documentary fans and Montauk locals mingled for Rory Kennedy‘s latest documentary, TAKE EVERY WAVE: THE LIFE OF LAIRD HAMILTON!
Following the screening—under a magical moonlit sky—Hamilton and Kennedy joined SummerDocs host Alec Baldwin and HIFF Artistic Director David Nugent for a lively conversation about skin care (!), the decades of advancement in surfing technology on display in the film, and Hamilton’s incredible biography.
If you missed the film, you can catch it in theaters beginning this fall. It’s a must-see!
