2014 Student Filmmaking Workshops Expand to Southampton!

For the 7th year of the HIFF Student Summer Film Workshops, we are excited to expand our reach beyond the courses available at Guild Hall of East Hampton. In the summer of 2014, students are also invited to join us at the Southampton Arts Center!

In date order, HIFF is pleased to offer the following courses for young people (ages 8-15) interested in filmmaking.

Guild-Hall-1

Southampton

♦ August 18-22
♦ Location: Southampton Arts Center on Jobs Lane

2 Strands:
♦ Introduction to Filmmaking, ages 8-11 (10:00 – 1:00)
♦ Intermediate – Hands-on Filmmaking, ages 12-15 (2:00 – 5:00)

Over the course of one week, students learn the skill of screenwriting, directing, acting, producing and editing, with instruction and hands-on experience from industry professionals.  The short films will be showcased on screen that Saturday for students to share with family and friends.
