Welcome to the 20th Hamptons Int’l Film Festival
This year marks the 20th anniversary of our Hamptons International Film Festival, which was founded expressly to celebrate the best in independent film in its various forms. Our Festival exists to shine a spotlight on filmmakers while moving and inspiring audiences across the Hamptons and beyond. We are also proud to draw over 18,000 attendees each year from 20 countries and screen more than 100 films over five days, all in a spectacular and immersive environment.
Over the past 20 years, the industry has honored us by recognizing the strength and resonance of our programmatic line-up – and we are heartened to know that our positioning in the beautiful month of October allows us to surprise our audiences with many films which go on to great success in the awards season. More than that, we are particularly thrilled to be in a position to award grant packages totaling over $200,000 in services that enable filmmakers to keep telling their stories. All this to say that the last two decades of the Hamptons International Film Festival have been enthralling and we are very thankful to have you with us as we continue our journey.
