EMPTY NEST opens in select theaters on April 24
Catch 2008 HIFF favorite EMPTY NEST in select theaters this Friday! Directed by Daniel Burman, the film is centered around Leonardo (Oscar Martinez) and Martha (Cecilia Roth), a seemingly happy, prosperous couple. However, problems and concerns begin to emerge when their three children set off on their own. Faced with an empty nest, Martha dreams about going back to university and surrounding herself with people, while Leonardo takes refuge in fantasies that soon begin to feel like realities. When they travel to Israel to visit their youngest daughter, things take a surreal twist.
